Victor Koos, DVM

Dr. Koos grew up in Mount Kisco, New York. He was always drawn towards animals and first started working as an assistant at a veterinary hospital in high school. Dr. Koos studied at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry where he earned his bachelor’s degree in wildlife science. He then worked as a field ornithologist on various research and conservation projects before working as an assistant technician at Lincoln Square Veterinary Hospital.

After a few years, Dr. Koos decided to go to veterinary school and received his degree from Cornell University in 2021. After graduating he began working as a general practitioner in a private practice in Brooklyn prior to returning to work at LSVH as a veterinarian.

As a general practitioner, Dr. Koos has special interests in preventative medicine, internal medicine, cardiology, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry. Dr. Koos lives with his dog Xander, two cats Margot and Orange, and a variety of tropical fish.
